Likamobile Kit Project

Kits 4B & 5 arrived on October 20, 2005. I checked my parts inventory and reviewed the instructions. The front hubs and wheel/tire assemblies went together in no time. Set the toe-in alignment and set the chassis on the ground. Since Modelworks gave a warning that the springs may change, I just set the springs on their perches and took some pictures. These two kits are not very challenging and not much detailing required.

As I stand back and take in my creation, and of course push it around the shop to test the steering and differential, I'm now getting impatient for the next installment

There is now a Modelworks builder forum, designed and administered by Julia, from S.E. England. She is building the Burrell Traction model, but has set the forum up for all the Modelworks kits. I would like to see all of the Likamobile builders attend this site and introduce themselves and share their build experiences. The web address is: http//modelworksug.proboards58.com/

Until the next installment, Happy Building.
